This was 7 or 8 years before Max. I'm pretty sure they were still on 3ds 1 or 2 at this point (for DOS). I've only ever really used as far back as 4.

Which reminds me, after about 8 months of searching pretty regularly, I finally dug up some of the commercial IPAS plugins for 3ds 3.0 and 4.0, I need to find someplace to disseminate them before they disappear completely. They are pretty tough to find.

I've stated before that I'm not a DJ. I do DJ some events for some local nonprofits but putting on a mix CD and hooking it up to a PA system doesn't make me a DJ in this town or any other. And yeah, I know who Gescom is, but calling it Autechre is like calling The Knitters X, Rites of Spring Fugazi, or for a more recent example, calling Father John Misty the Fleet Foxes.

I'm pretty sure it's both halves of autechre plus some unnamed contributors...and yes you're right, but I will always think of them as "autechre fucking around," and I don't think gescom is a linked tag. Besides iss: a (who the hell else could have made slow acid) their work generally doesn't have the austerity and refinement of anything past chiastic slide, but it's booth and brown making electronic music in their distinct style all the same. It's more calling caustic window aphex twin and less calling microstoria mouse on mars or oval for what it's worth (nothing!)
