Rape is the only crime where the accuser is always suspect. Now, there are reasons why this happens other than misogyny, but misogyny finds an opportunity to assert itself here.

In our society, the legal burden of proof is on the accuser, and that's an important principle that I believe in, but we've had rapists actually uploading evidence of their crimes to the internet, and still people have blamed the victim.

And yet, false accusations do happen. This is a serious dilemma with serious consequences and no easy answers.
