Rick and Morty Season 1 has been described by one of its creator as barreling down the street at a hundred miles and hour. In Season 2, he continued, it actually turns a corner and hits some mailboxes.

that show (R+M) is pretty fucking depressing. it's got its moments though.

Rick potion #9 in S1 did the same thing for me but it was bittersweet, like the realization every kid gets that they're going to die someday. But jeez ep3..

I've actually never known anybody who straight-up doesn't (or at one point didn't) like Adventure Time, or at least the idea of it. I mean to each their own, but I'm just curious. Is it too indie-precious for its own good like if Wes Anderson made a cartoon series or something? Like I said above it's just sort of a "meh" thing to me vs. people who worship it the same way people worship MLP, and in the latter case it understandably goes both ways, but I've never heard someone just say that they don't like AT at all.

AT was really good for a few seasons, but it's seriously dropped off in quality as all of the best writers have moved on to other things and the remaining/new staff are just Flanderizing everything to death.

Rebecca Sugar moved on to make Steven Universe which is the best cartoon around today! It's way better than this crap.

I liked it at first, but that's because it was something new, very dreamy but with its other foot in reality. A lot of that IS probably because of Sugar. SU isn't my personal favorite, but I'm counting "adult" animated shows like Rick and Morty and Bojack Horseman.

When it started I didn't really like SU. I liked the 70s anime style but it was too.. I dunno if precious is the right word but I didn't think I'd like it and now I really do.

Cena are you saying that MLP's kind of going the way most fans of earlier AT would say that series is going? If so, what do you see happening with Bronies in the future if the show goes south? Do they endure like Trekkies through numerous bad movies and series, or do they just go and find something else like diehard Simpsons fans like myself did?
