I'm 6'2 but I usually don't meet anyone near my height, and it's always awkward, if I even make it to the part of the date when you kiss.. not just the bending over part but because I don't really know what I look like from that angle.

I did go on some dates with a girl who was about my height. And we had great sex and then she was gone. Like, deleted me on facebook, blocked my number, hasn't been on Tinder since.. I don't think I did anything wrong.. technically she was still married but separated but the guy sounded like the world's biggest douchebag.. maybe he changed and they got back together.. oh well, I just liked seeing eye to eye with someone for a change.

My girlfriend is 6'2". I'm only 5'10", so sorry Zest. She has to deal with people gawking and making remarks ("Wow, look at her!") whenever she's in public. After being treated like a freakshow by groups of assholes, she's on several occasions come home crying.

Height fetish people are interesting (Enjoy?), but gawking at tall people themselves is equivalent to gawking at midgets. Not classy.

Man, that's a lot worse. Mine's just a self conscious thing that nobody ever points out. I know any advice from a complete stranger won't mean much but fuck those people.

6'2" myself here. I dated a girl who was 6'4" for a while, so I know that feeling. How I can be complimented on my height (like it was something I worked for and achieved, like compliment me on my fucking diploma or something) and how she got the 'that's a huge bitch' thing.

I guess I'm a little guilty of it myself, but it was a long time ago, and the opposite.. my fiancee at the time, who was about 5'6 started hanging out with a guy who was maybe 5'4.. anyway he was shorter than she was and I got bitten by the jealousy bug, even though they were just "hanging out.." in retrospect I never should've been so selfish or said that she shouldn't be hanging out with a man who's shorter than she is.. so there's infinite zest's asshole confessional from 2002.
