What is the question that we are seeing all the edited answers from totally not actors?

I STOOD UP AND CLAPPED when I heard the questions this gay preacher asks! You HAVE to see this!!

Scrimmjob - 2015-08-23

If the question is coming from Ray Comfort, you know it's retarded!

Mr. Purple Cat Esq. - 2015-08-23

I dont get it

infinite zest - 2015-08-23

It's an AWARD WINNING MOVIE. Maybe you have to see it twice?

BENNR - 2015-08-23

Binro the Heretic - 2015-08-23

It doesn't matter what the Bible says about homosexuality because the Bible was written thousands of years ago by primitive screwheads.

Fuck your God. Fuck your Bible. Fuck you.

Mr. Purple Cat Esq. - 2015-08-23

I feel you brah. Religion is dying though. In many cool european countries like Denmark its already almost dead*. I feel the best way to help this along is just dont mention it, dont confront religious people and get them riled up, just ignore it as the silly anachronism it is.
Think of a child playing with some toy like a yo-yo. Youd have a very hard time convincing him to give it up, whereas if you just ignored the yo-yo adn started playing, like gta5 on you occulus rift then he'd probably put the yo-yo down and want to play your game.
(the yo-yo represents religion, playing gta with an occulus rift represents playing gta with an occulus rift )

*Also they have among the worlds best healthcare, education, public transport, wealth equality, general quality of life, pedestrianised city centres, wudespread cycling as a form of transport, 20% renewable energy and rising rapidly, etc etc.

Mr. Purple Cat Esq. - 2015-08-23

ps. bit of a negative correlation exists there between education quality and religious zeal.

infinite zest - 2015-08-23

Religion's a lot like punk rock. Both died when someone said that they weren't dead. Is Mozart's Requiem still one of the most beautiful things in the world? Yeah! Is.. fucking.. I dunno Stiv Bators still badass? Fuck yeah! But religion, like the guy in his 60s who still hangs onto his leather jacket with the DRI patches, is something to be appreciated for what it was, not what it is.

Now excuse me while I play my Taylor Swift!

oddeye - 2015-08-23

Binro has just turned 13.

Mr. Purple Cat Esq. - 2015-08-23

I dunno oddeye, when I was a kid many illogical aspects of human society totally flabbergasted me. For instance how some people are literally starving whereas others eat so much its killing them (on top of wasting more food than they eat). As the years progressed I got *used* to these things existing and people accepting them, but every now and again the ridiculousness of these things will hit me once again with its full force; as well it should. Just because one becomes inured to a state of affairs that does not make it at all acceptable or inevitable.
Perhaps Binro has had one of these episodes, but he is *right* imo, that is the vital thing. Not forgetting such simple common sense ideas is very important.

Binro the Heretic - 2015-08-23

In a cyclical sort of way, Oddeye.

After decades of trying to understand them and reason with them, I'm back to wanting to hit them with a shovel until they stop making sounds.

They're assholes who enjoyed having the power of arbitrarily denying things to people and now they're losing that power because the tide of public opinion is against them. That's as deep as it goes, really. But by saying it's what God wants and what the Bible says, they're trying to lend weight and credibility to their bullshit.

Fuck them.

infinite zest - 2015-08-23

Oh shit! This is Portland's own Cakes by Melissa! Between this and the Farmers market that just shut down, I'm convinced that Portland has the most passive aggressive way of "acceptance," be it flying dozens of rainbow flags or sending out cakes and dvds. Like, I don't like people with any phobia, but if that's your opinion, don't hide behind a fucking mask. It's more condescending than you think.

Adjuvant - 2015-08-23

In case anyone, like me, wants a summary of the movie without having to (heaven forfend) actually watch it, I liked this review I found:

http://www.patheos.com/blogs/friendlyatheist/2015/06/29/ray-co mforts-anti-gay-film-audacity-is-a-ludicrous-caricature-of-self-ri ghteous-evangelism/

It sounds as crazy as it looks.

infinite zest - 2015-08-23

Ugh.. thanks, but can you give a summary of the summary? I only made it about halfway down before I lost that part of my brain that knows how to read things. :)

Cena_mark - 2015-08-24

I did some reading on the movie and a lot of Christian publications seem to be making this out as to be Christians extending the olive branch to the gay community. They try to dress it up like that at least, but its the same old shit. Turn straight or go to Hell.

The Mothership - 2015-08-23

Hoo boy, what a thing this is.

Rodents of Unusual Size - 2015-08-23

Ray Comfort's voice annoys me like no other person on the planet.

kamlem - 2015-08-24

So the idiots crying persecution for not making cakes for gays now makes cakes for multiple gays to shill a movie?
