Some of Oliver's shtick is beginning to not be all that funny, but I'm never going to get tired of seeing him eviscerate people and institutions that so badly need it. Ever see Kenneth and Gloria Copeland? They describe their show as "anointed", which means that God has chosen them to do his work. Which, of course, they are allowed to say.

One thing he didn't mention is that "the Gospel of Prosperity", i.e. "wealth is a sign of God's favor" obviously implies that poverty is a sign of God's disfavor, and is therefore deserved. How many of the people who send Kenneth and Gloria hundreds of dollars are outraged that some of their taxes go to food stamps?

This guy is awesome. He's like the new Jon Stewart, which is great because the old one is a bastard. He betrayed the WWE Universe and cost John Cena his US Title. Sure he did what's best for business, but I am no longer a shareholder, so I am no longer backing The Authority.

I tried this once, but in Ohio you had to be a state-ordained minister, and for that you needed at least 3 signatures from people confirming that they were members of your congregation, and I couldn't get 3 people to play along.
