Caminante Nocturno - 2015-09-07
He's going to have to live the rest of his life with the shame and stigma of being on VH1.

infinite zest - 2015-09-07
The ironing is delicious.

yogarfield - 2015-09-07
Like he was trying to get caught, VH1 style.
God, VH1 was lame. Is it still around?

Xenocide - 2015-09-07
Can it be Fat People Week now? Jared is a celebrity because he used to be fat. Then he became a famous child molester. He's what you call a Renaissance Man.

I guess Subway wasn't the only 6" he was eating.

SixDigitDebt - 2015-09-07 If I explain it, Brian Harrod might steal it.
SolRo - 2015-09-07 Even brian harrod wont steal a joke this badly constructed.
(tm) as worst insult possible against a poetv user
SixDigitDebt - 2015-09-07 You just made him the new standard ARE YOU HAPPY NOW?
TheOtherCapnS - 2015-09-07 Also, I still do not understand this Brian Harrod thing.
yogarfield - 2015-09-07 @capns
brian is a one-eyed janitor that writes most of the jokes you see in the comments around here. know that old saying, "lose an eye, gain a funnybone"? i think he wrote that one as well.

SixDigitDebt - 2015-09-07 All the news blends together for me these days. I'm going to blame the codeine.

EvilHomer - 2015-09-08 I think it's a reference to the small stature of children. 6" subs are "half-sized sandwiches", in much the same way that 10 yo girls can be viewed as "half-sized humans". Furthermore, this interpretation of the joke allows for an additional layer of meaning: most people would agree that 10 yo girls are NOT merely half-sized humans ("little adults"), but are rather something entirely different - they are children, as different from adults as, say, a veggie wrap is from a footlong sub. Jared does not see them that way! Jared does not think that little girls are veggie wraps. He believes that little girls are subs, same as any grown woman; the sole difference being that the subs he happens to fancy are diminutive in size.

Prickly Pete - 2015-09-08 No, SolRo is right, it makes no sense.
infinite zest - 2015-09-08 I guess Subway wasn't the only sandwich he was solicitating underage sex from..
EvilHomer - 2015-09-08 Speaking of sex with underage children, hey IZ! Did you see that Facebook link I left you?
EvilHomer - 2015-09-08 The one for the GWAR band.
infinite zest - 2015-09-08 I don't think so.. did you put it on the Poe fb?
EvilHomer - 2015-09-08 No, on whatever submission you asked about the band; don't remember which one it was now.
Which is your Facebook? (no stalker)
infinite zest - 2015-09-08 I'll put a post on Poe fb :) it'll just be my comment above.
infinite zest - 2015-09-08 Sonofadick my paste thing didn't work on my phone so it's a harmony Korine quote instead.. The others will be left scratching their heads :)

il fiore bel - 2015-09-07
I guess knowing about the show gave him ten more years of getting away with it.
SolRo - 2015-09-07
Btw, can someone explain why vh1 is lame? They don't seem much different from mtv now and I'd like to know some specific reasons
Herr Matthias - 2015-09-07 For many years VH1 was intended as the "adult contemporary" counterpart of MTV, so naturally they kind of got stereotyped as that channel for boring old people that have to put on ties and go to jobs and don't have time to appreciate all of the different genres of music out there with "-core" in their name.

infinite zest - 2015-09-08 Back in college I had this weird cable subscription that had vh1 classic and a million other channels and I watched the shit out of it. I don't think there were even commercials, just "classic" rock. A lot of it was MOR stuff but they also had stuff like Dead Boys, Patti Smith and Wire blocks too. This was only a few years after MTV2 launched, which was supposed to be the music video station to MTV's reality programming and mostly unfunny comedy like The State. VH1 kept it real, at least last time I checked.
And yeah I said what I said about The State. Sorry..
Monkey Napoleon - 2015-09-08 People exist that got their media from broadcast TV after 2003? Wow.
Old_Zircon - 2015-09-08 I'd just like to take a moment to give IZ a virtual high five for sharing my dislike of The State.
As far as I could tell it was MadTV for bros.

StanleyPain - 2015-09-07
The irony is that one of these stings is how the director of Jared's foundation was caught (which is what led to the investigation of Jared himself).
Herr Matthias - 2015-09-07
You'd think that with a hundred million episodes one of them would have eventually caught Jared.
