A friend of mine dated a woman who was anorexic and at one of her worst points she had to be restrained and intubated in the hospital to keep her from literally starving to death, bad enough to the point that it was screwing up her hormonal balance and making her grow body hair in places she shouldn't have and this woman looks less healthy.

Let's hope it's a genetic condition because otherwise she's not going to have a heart left by 30.

Yeah, I've dealt with anorexics before; the "down" they grow is pretty disturbing. It's not genetic (to the best of my knowledge), but it IS treatable, and hopefully both your friend's gf and this nice young lady will be OK.

I was about to say that I know people who are just that thin naturally, but then when she backs up a little and you get a good look at her legs, I thought 'no, no I don't know anybody THAT thin naturally'. Where does she get clothes? The children's aisle?

It's not a condition, she is pro-ana. I looked through a few of her videos and it's a "life choice" thing.
