What would Ham Week be without Bob Dylan?

The UN? The Peace Corps? Marches in the South? Most of these positions would be considered pretty liberal these days.

Cobras flying in the sun,
Killing gooks is lots of fun,
Catch one pregnant,
Two for one,
Napalm sticks to kids
Seriously this is a great contribution to this site, though

Old_Zircon - 2015-10-30 Thank the owner of the record shop I worked at years ago, he was a big fan of answer songs.
The Ten Commandments of Woman Given To Man by Princess Buster is another great one:

And the original in case you aren't familiar:

Cena_mark - 2015-10-31 Would you consider Don't Want no Pidgeons to be an answer song?

I like how conservative songs, especially "answer songs" like this, are so terrible and can't exist outside of being a response to something and being near parody.

Ugh - 2015-10-30
is there enough of this pro-war music to make a solid playlist? i always enjoyed this one by keith everett: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Q_3POFvlzy8

Old_Zircon - 2015-10-30 Oh I bet you could make a three hour playlist just from the 50s and 60s but I don't know a lot off the top of my head. I know there was a lot of it. Look in to small label rockabilly.

Old_Zircon - 2015-10-30 I used to have a tape of the October 7, 1990 Dr. Demento show from when I was a kid, and it had this block of clunky pro Desert Storm songs:
Get Back Iraq - Ted The Dudeman
Saddam's A Dumb-Dumb - Laszlo & Gary
Iraq, Iraq - Saddam Sinatra
Can't find them on line anyplace.

Ugh - 2015-10-30 like isis used nasheeds to propagate their ideals, i too hope the US had enough acapella groups during Vietnam to spread the joys of democracy
looking forward to lost musical propaganda week in the near future

Miss Henson's 6th grade class - 2015-10-31 It depends. "Let's Start a War" by Fear would qualify, but you sort of have to figure that they were being ironic about it, as Lee Ving was an actual Vietnam veteran. It might be possible that S.O.D. was pretty sincere about everything they suggested, though.
