Daniel Lopatin has made some of my favorite albums of the past 5 years. I loved R+7 with its internet K-hole aesthetic and I'm loving this album with it's weird '90s kid' recontextualizing.
I hadn't heard of him until maybe last week; I like James Ferraro and saw a flyer that they were playing the same bill here on thanksgiving so I checked him out.. Between this and the new grimes album I've been in a very happy place :)
