Neil lost me a little with that whole "philosophy contributes nothing to humanity and should be abandoned" thing a year or two ago.

This helped a bit.

Degrassi said what now?

What a tool.

Funny, since LOGIC is a requirement for every philosophy major, as much as we'd rather smoke cloves and read Sartre and impress girls at bars we all have to take it. I also took a Philosophy of Quantum Mechanics course in college which kind of destroyed my mind, but in a good way, I think.

Science is perhaps a little more useful here on planet earth, but if you're Degrassi then your stargazing is no different than our navelgazing.

Philosophers overstatement of the importance of philosophy is about on par with degrassi's dismissal of it

science is a branch of philosophy

"Here, workers are seen erecting a penis."

Ironically there's a Kickstarter for the first porn in space, who's goal is lower than 6 episodes of MST3K.

"The One Astronomical Unit High Club" doesn't have quite the same ring to it, but that is a noble goal all the same.
