I like Shemp, not as good as Curly, but still think he's really funny. Just look at that mug!

He was the original third stooge, too, it was just his bad luck to leave before they started doing films and come back after they'd peaked and the films were getting bad. I love Curly but there's a strong caste to be made for Shemp being more talented as a physical comedian.

But here's the real twist - Curly Joe, undeniably the worst stooge of all, was in the vaudeville team before Curly and thinking about it now he may have even predated Shemp and been the founding third stooge. eve to double check that. All of my Three Stooges lore comes from finding The Stoogephile Trivia Book in the quarter book bin at Osco Drug in 5th grade, so ti gets jumbled up a bit.
