My sister-in-law's ex has stalked her for several years since their breakup (A breakup he insisted on oddly) and posts rambling stuff like this on social media. He's had the cops round several times in the last year due to escalation, this guy reminds me of him enough to make my palms sweat.

bawbag - 2015-12-07 The cops have an active file on him but they've argued the threshold hasn't been met for that step yet, despite him chasing her car multiple times, turning up at her secure workplace, harassing her family (myself included) to contact her, sending thousands (no exaggeration) of novel-sized letters proclaiming himself as the reborn Christ and telling her how she needs to 'just love him, because it's the right thing to do' among other things.
That he's not been 'violent' seems to be the sticking point with the cops here. The most irritating thing in dutch culture is 'regels zijn regels' aka 'rules are rules'. They follow it almost religiously.
