I wish all weather was delivered this way.

Void 71 - 2015-12-07

I can't think of anything I wouldn't want delivered in the style of an autistic drill sergeant.

He was right too. There were sewage geysers on every other street on my way to work. I was basically biking through shit. You'd think for a town that's rainy 9 months of the year, we'd have better infrastructure in place for anything more than a fairly light drizzle.

EvilHomer - 2015-12-07

Wait, you mean sewage geysers aren't normal in Portland? I thought sewage geysers were one of your tourist attractions, like Oregon's answer to the Fountains of Bellagio?

At this point they might as well be. Today's rain was heavy by PNW standards but nothing like what I've experienced back in the Midwest, and we never had this problem there. And this is also after a 1+ billion dollar sewer line was finished just a few years ago. But here's a bunch of fun pictures of the damage done :)

(er.. some of it's fun. Nothing fun about getting your house flooded.)

I find it quite pleasing that an Oregonian city full of fake Oregonians can't handle a little bit of rain.

Too bad it's not enough to convince them to move back to wherever they came from so that us true Oregonians can reclaim our pacific wonderland.

Yeah Frankie's awesome. I randomly clicked on one of his videos on here a day or two ago, realized that I had kind of forgotten about him and wondered what he's up to. A lot, that's what. Any big meteorological event, anywhere in the world, Frankie's on the scene!

Dr Robot - 2015-12-08
