I've got mixed feelings on this. On the one hand it seems like the kind of 3dgy shock animation that blew up in the late 80s and was completely played out by the time Beavis and Butthead were in to their second or third season, but on the other hand it's pretty well done. Reminds me of Webster Colcord's stuff.

Yeah I got into this guy because of that Gunship video that was posted here a while ago which is all VHS nostalgia stuff. His stuff's kinda hit or miss with me but this one's especially dark.

You don't know how happy I am to find someone else who has watched it and enjoyed it. Watched it out of total boredom, because it was on Netflix. Didn't know anything about it other than vaguely remembering the trailer on TV.

I enjoyed it so much more than every other overhyped, overrated horror film I've seen recently (looking at you, "Goodnight Mommy")... except for "It Follows", which I also loved.

I dunno. You're Next has been my #1 example of overhyped, overrated horror movie for the last 5 years. It's the exact same offering as hundreds of other home invasion movies, but it's the best thing ever because STRONG FEMALE LEAD?

Get Out is probably on par for most overrated horror movie. It's much better than You're Next, but was proportionately more overrated. I mean, Best Picture? Really? Out of the scant handfuls of horror movies ever nominated over 50+ years, Get Out was supposed to be up there with Silence of the Lambs and The Exorcist? Get out...of here!

I wouldn't be surprised if it becomes one at some point, since The Simpsons has gotten folks like Don Hertzfeldt and the animators on Rick and Morty to do their couch gags. I don't have TV but I think this guy does a lot of bumps on Adult Swim. He might have to tone it down a bit but it seems to be the direction they're going.

Say what you will about The Simpsons over the last 15 years, but the couch gags keep getting better. I wonder if the show's eventually going to assume a Robot Chicken-esque format at some point and it's just 3 minute couch gag after 3 minute couch gag for 20-odd minutes.
