I was just going to submit this. Good for you!

I really want to actually want to really see this.

joelkazoo - 2016-01-03

That last sentence sounded cooler in my head.

EvilHomer - 2016-01-04

It makes sense, though. I think we can all relate.

The Mothership - 2016-01-03

Oh hey, Nadine!

This looks like fun.

infinite zest - 2016-01-03

What is it with Milwaukee and not finishing the movie you started? They made a documentary about Coven, Hamlet ADD was in dev hell for at least 10 years and I'm still waiting on this. There seems to be a theme and I like it.

That guy - 2016-01-04

Well, in their defense, even the trailer for this is fucking exhausting.

infinite zest - 2016-01-04

Yeah, Coven was something real which meant a lot to somebody whose daughter I might have been the boss of, but it wasn't drunkenly ironic the way the other two are. There were many times I had to wait around the theatre to wait for Mark to come by and pick her up, to drive her back home in the middle of a blizzard. It was just weird because Mark and Mike were sort of like a Jay and Silent Bob to me for years until I got to know them.

The Hamlet ADD story's different than that, as is this. There was no "so bad it's good" mentality going into Coven, it was just something that an aspiring filmmaker did, and the movie was finished! Nothing wrong with making a film ironically like Kung Fury, or rereleasing some old Ozsploitation movie but now that RLM's got their foot solidly in the ground I wish they'd give some of their more serious screenplatys to hollywoodland :)

Rodents of Unusual Size - 2016-01-04

Mike Stoklaska is the funniest man on Youtube. He gives me comedy boners.

Caminante Nocturno - 2016-01-04

Nobody yells "OH MY GOD!" better than the people at Red Letter Media.

bongoprophet - 2016-01-04

looks horrible-horrible.

Juice Eggs McKenna - 2016-01-04

I don't get why they would want to put all their energy and talent into making a fake bad movie when they could instead attempt to make a good movie which probably wouldn't turn out to be bad. It seems like a cop-out and a wasted opportunity.

EvilHomer - 2016-01-04

I'd rather they try to make a good movie, and fail miserably, then go into this intending to make a bad movie right from the start! Either be sincere, or stick to film criticism.

Fake bad movies are the worst kind of bad movie.

Two Jar Slave - 2016-01-04

That's it. I want to like this. I want to think they're doing the best they can with no budget and limited experience. But it reeks of low-hanging fruit and playing things safe.

infinite zest - 2016-01-04

To be fair, this has been incubating for I don't know how long. It's a lot like the cynical "screenplays" we'd write in the box office log at the movie theatre all the time, mostly just out of spite for the general movie-going public. It's mostly beer talk, but Jay and Mike have had some amazing little movie ideas, and now that they're chumming it up with John Landis Jr. it'd be interesting so see what else they go on to make now that they have a bonafide hollywood connection.

StanleyPain - 2016-01-04

You guys do realize they've made, like, 4 other movies which were all schlocky comedies as well, right?

EvilHomer - 2016-01-04

Yeah, and they all sucked too. :(

Aress - 2016-01-05

I bought Feeding Frenzy and I didn't like it enough to watch it again. But I have no regrets paying them a little bit of money for dozens of hours of free entertainment. They have fun making schlocky movies, so great for them.

chumbucket - 2016-01-04

Hopefully they just made the trailers, right?

BHWW - 2016-01-04

It took them 12 years to make, just like "Boyhood".

atheistgirl - 2016-01-04

This is my sort of movie.

kingarthur - 2016-01-04

They're the only you tube channel I check or watch regularly besides whatever shows up here, so I'm down.

StanleyPain - 2016-02-04

So I bought the Blu Ray of this and watched it tonight. It's pretty entertaining, but it's not really a movie. It's more like a self-aware "people fucking around and making a movie" type thing than something that really comes off like a real film. That's not a criticism, it's just how it is. It's too long I think (about 105 minutes WITH stuff that was cut out) and it has draggy parts, but it's pretty fun if you are already an RLM fan. Anyone with no clue of RLM would probably think it was terrible.
