It looks like NK has finally made it to 1982 in terms of newscast production values.

North Korea has it's own subreddit. It's nothing but links to the tightly controlled newspapers' and their online articles. The articles never stray from the narrative that North Korea is a prosperous country standing alone and ever striving to being a modern and peaceful nation struggling against Western imperialism and always professing near divine admiration and gratitude for Kim Jong Un's leadership. It's hilarious at times. My favorite recent article is when Kim Jong Un visited a "Children's Foodstuff Factory." The last photo at the lower left hand corner is great. The conveyor belt is a mere six inches off from the ground and would probably cause anything on it to go flying off if it actually worked.

I had the idea a while back they could make a cartoon called Fat Hitler and it would be a sendup of Fat Albert. But then Cosby's many rapetastic adventures hit the news, so now it would have to involve Fat Hitler learning valuable lessons as he rapes everything in his country. And Korean speakers who can tell us if this intonation and delivery is way over the top for a news announcement? Because it sure sounds like an amdram level of over enthusiasm to my ears.

Then again, she's announcing an H bomb, so perhaps it's justified.
