No, it isn't, you cranky analogue old bastard.

Old_Zircon - 2016-01-21

Ironically I'm at least 3/4 digital, probably more.

SolRo - 2016-01-21

are your two possible states lame or boring?

Old_Zircon - 2016-01-22

Sick burn dude.

Scrimmjob - 2016-01-21

Well, I don't think I ever made it all the way to the end of this before.

Old_Zircon - 2016-01-22

It's OK, if I liked anime I'd enjoy it more.

Homework was a better album.

infinite zest - 2016-01-22

I think it was just that time of my life, but I personally do not like Homework very much at all, but I think that's because you could hear it everywhere you went unless you put on headphones at my college. Same goes for Kid A and Moon and Antarctica. So I got some headphones and went to find some other stuff.

Old_Zircon - 2016-01-22

That completely makes sense to me. I ignored Daft Punk for a long time so I don't really have many associations with them. Both albums are pretty great.

infinite zest - 2016-01-22

To be fair, it was usually not the whole album, mostly just "Around The World." "Around The World" ends so here's an idea, put on "Around The World" again! A friend of mine is a huge fan of Daft Punk, like I think he got some box set that comes with the helmet or some such thing, and he put Homework record on and I didn't even recognize half of the tracks.

Scrimmjob - 2016-01-22

I prefer homework, it was one of our better let's drive around and get stoned albums in high school.

5 for Matsumoto. I remember the one video and knew they were doing a few others but I didn't know it was this long! I think I'll watch it the regular way first though, even though I really can't stand Daft Punk.

infinite zest - 2016-01-22

(I mostly just can't stand that song with Animal Collective on the new album because you hear it everywhere; Digital Love is still a pretty good jam).

I was an art teacher and social worker when this came out and I would show this to my art students who ranged from 1st to 5th grade.

They LOVED it. I mean they went absolutely bananas over it. I would bring in a small portable speaker system I used to DJ with at the time too.

So, five stars for making a bunch of at-risk kids in small town South Mississippi crazy happy at a Boys and Girls Club.

infinite zest - 2016-01-22

That's cool! I didn't know you were a social worker! We're not so very different!

Old_Zircon - 2016-01-23

Kingarthur, you're like the art teacher some friends of mine had in high school who would play Kraftwerk during class.

Kid Fenris - 2016-01-22

All that work and not a single satanic message turned up.
