Norton and Cumia's strengths are their off the cuff moments in a voice-only medium. As soon as they try scripted stuff, it goes to shit, especially acting. I can't think of a single funny Norton standup bit.

Rodents of Unusual Size - 2016-03-02 Yeah, that's exactly the problem. The fact is Norton is a BRILLIANT radio guy because his automatic comebacks are nothing short of genius, and his arguments are always fascinating to listen to. He is not shy of talent, but the direction he chose to go with in an animated format is a fucking disaster.
I never liked the Uncle Paul character and he just uses it way too fucking much, to the point where Opie had to tell him it made him uncomfortable since he became an actual dad.
I still love their show and I love their interaction with stand up comedians especially. It's a completely no holds barred environment and beautifully uncensored, which results in a lot of fun and random moments. But that just makes this whole project all the worse and all the more awful.

Jim Norton gives me the profound impression of someone whose passion is not their calling. He works really, really, really hard to be this lousy. I can't even hate him. I just pity him.

I'm not sure how the submission appears here. I am in Saudi Arabia teaching English for the next year, and much to my dismay they block poetv altogether, at least where I am. I am having to go via Tor, which is limited in that all of the videos tell me a plugin is required to view content (not sure which plugin yet).
