i used to play this with my dad. it had a lot of charm. if your communications officer wasn't trained particularly well, races you encounter would speak in an unintelligible garble interspliced with yes/no questions often relating to your desire to give them fuel and/or be mercilessly destroyed.

Starflight is my all time favorite game but this upload is shit. How about finding a retrospective on it instead of this boring nose picking streamer.

Too lazy to look up the makers, but this game was the direct inspiration for Star Control 2.

Even the main villain race would go on to become the Umgah.

I was spoiled and played Starflight on the Genesis, the only version of 2 I found playable was on the Amiga, not sure if that's the version we're seeing here. Overall I'd say the first one is better.
