"how much better could anything be?"

SixDigitDebt - 2016-03-21

The Mt. Blanco Fossil Museum is a creationist museum in Crosbyton, Texas, opened in 1998. Its motto is "Digging up the facts of God's Creation: One fossil at a time."

Why are these people so eager to proclaim the existence of a genocidal overseer?

SolRo - 2016-03-21

because he genocides the people you hate?

HarrietTubmanPI - 2016-03-21

What's sad is this local news team didn't bother to mention that this guy sent the fossils to someone who wasn't a scientist, nor independently verified anything, or even said "hey let's take one of the fossils and get it to an actual scientist to see what he said" or point out that there is no geological evidence for a global flood ever.

Way to go local news.

EvilHomer - 2016-03-21

They identify Mr Taylor as a "self-proclaimed" expert. Unless you want to accuse the local news audience of being dumb, the team really don't need to elaborate further than that.

TheOtherCapnS - 2016-03-22

Because they're terrified of the oblivion that awaits all of us when we die, obviously.

This gentleman and his aunt seem like nice people! They are clearly inquisitive by nature and very happy with what they discovered, so I hope that any corrections - if and when they come - are framed with an eye towards understanding and empathy.

Laughing at or lecturing these two would be unkind, and sadly, counter-productive.

chumbucket - 2016-03-21

I agree, they would crumble under the crushing blow of nihilism that could easily be unleashed from this story.

RikkiTikki - 2016-03-21

that's what i tell my friend from Georgia when she complains about her neighbors talking about the immigrant workers their families used to have.

Not The Onion.

chumbucket - 2016-03-21

Noah is given far too much from a possessive perspective in this:

Noah's flood
Noah's dirt

I thought the dude was a poor farmer.

Tecuciztecatl arises at being worshiped.

kingarthur - 2016-03-21

Tyler-Man was a nickname me and my ex had for her/our dog.

:(

It's good that I got out of the relationship, but why do the surrogate children have to suffer? I miss Tyler.

Old_Zircon - 2016-03-23

So James Randi is doing kind of an Andy Kaufman thing now?
