Old_Zircon - 2016-04-03 Normally I won't care about a low rating but when it comes to Miami bass I've got to put my foot down.

lotsmoreorcs - 2016-04-03 i dunno man i watched as much as i could. DJ culture? ugh. lived and worked with DJs in the past, including a few from the club kids era in the past, and yeah they did have interesting stories but TWO HOURS...i was hoping the bass explosion would bring in a crimewave or something more sinister.
idk, zoe "the toe" anderson had a lot of opinions about electronic music and how shitty all of it was, how dubstep was this generations disco and everything before it was "gay as shit as well" but i don't really think i have the full right to speak for her as of right now. still pretty sure she is looking down at the inclusion of two hours of dj stories

Old_Zircon - 2016-04-03 More to the point, though, is that this documentary isn't even about DJ's or DJ culture, it's about miami bass. There are a few DJs mentioned in passing and one or two interviewed briefly because DJs played miami bass, but this is mostly about the music itself and its history. You must have only watched the beginning where it's summarizing the cultural context that bass emerged from.
