I'm glad that people are finally with the idea that disco music is okay. I went through a horrible period in history when disco got to be the biggest fad and then it bombed out. Horrible is a strong word, because I loved the music and that's how it felt when people got on the attack bandwagon.

Now the resurgence had been happening for 20 years, and so disco lives on as a kind of alternative oldies.
