John Holmes Motherfucker - 2016-05-09 Paul Lynde was the Patton Oswalt of the 60s and 70s, by which I mean he would show up on every single sitcom for a guest role. For some reason, he was often cast as conservative characters, and for some reason, it worked.
Hollywood Squares was where he got to be himself, sort of. It was hilarious, but maybe it was just a glimpse of what he might have been in a less fucked up world.

EvilHomer - 2016-05-09 Is Patton Oswalt on sitcoms? Do they still make sitcoms? And what do you mean, "glimpse of what he might have been in a less fucked up world"?
