I would love it if everybody could just admit that the political situation in the middle east (and 'Muslim world' in general) has a long and complicated history of feuds and alliances that the majority of Americans simply don't care to understand and should probably just shut up about it.

From pulling almost all our troops out of Afghanistan and Iraq, to making peace with Iran, to participating in the no-fly zone in Libya BECAUSE the United Nations called for it, to threatening Assad if he kept up the chemical attacks and then NOT following through on the threat once Assad complied ... compared to Bush, Obama is a hippie flower child all right.

Yeah, the Left loves to claim that Obama indiscriminately kills civilians while cackling maniacally, because the Left is in love with outrage first and facts second. There's a big difference between the local drivers and the long haul drivers, too. In my time doing ~60,000 miles a year in a truck, I met one long haul guy who stayed in decent shape by eating well (nearly impossible on the road) and coming up with an all resistance band and bodyweight routine that he could do in rest stops or turnouts.

Local drivers tend to be pretty normal, but the long haul drivers sometimes have that special social awkwardness that only comes from many consecutive hours of isolation and inactivity...
