Five for John and Homie, who are funny, not at all cynical, and are enjoyable to interact over just about anything.

The exact opposite of this video, which is near unwatchable.

The video is okay. The burns are hit and miss, but what makes the whole thing sublime are those deadpan reaction shots.

Silicon Valley is a great show. I binged through the first two seasons in a couple of days on HBO Now.

HBO NOW is a great deal, BTW. Every episode of Game of Thrones, Sex in the City, Entourage, john oliver and Bill mahr, Oz, the Sopranos, Curb your enthusiasm, Boardwalk Empire, Six Feet Under... the only thing missing is Larry Sanders. Plus movies. All streaming on demand for 15 dollars a month.

To be fair, the 20's were probably the peak period of American innovation and excellence. The foundations of quantum mechanics, just for starters. Radio and electricity for the masses. The rise of a middle class. I could go on... Dude's just cold stupid for dumping on that.

Oz was OK, but the quality varied wildly; from adequately watchable, to downright cringeworthy. Entourage I'm trying to watch right now, if for no other reason than to get my mind off CA, but the characters are sort of annoying and I can't imagine paying 15 bucks a month for it. Sex in the City, John Oliver, and Bill Maher all suck - and in John Oliver's case at least, any watchable segments will be posted here to poeTV, so why bother paying for him? Never seen Six Feet Under, Games of Thrones isn't as good as the books, and Boardwalk Empire is rife with historical inaccuracies.

Can't complain about Sopranos, but I'm not fourteen anymore, and I see no reason to revisit it again.

My favorite shows are Six Feet Under, True Blood, Silicon Valley, Curb Your Enthusiasm, and Veep. Cynthia likes Game of Thrones, but strange to say, it's just too violent for me. Way too much genital mutilation. It seems to be a staple.

EvilHomer - 2016-05-29

Cynthia? Is that a cat, or Mrs Holmes?

True Blood is another show which varies wildly in quality. It's much better than OZ, even at its worst, but Jason is the only thing which stays consistent throughout.

I liked Silicon Valley to a certain extent, but it just became more painful to watch having sorta kinda been there before. The new season we just turned it off because the main guy has stopped being naive and idealistic and has just turned willfully stupid and it hurt too much.

Hooker - 2016-05-28

He'll completely forget about that in a moment.

Not a fan of erectile misfunction.

There's nothing anyone could ever say about me in here that would be more appreciated than "not at all cynical"!

EvilHomer - 2016-05-28

I'm honored to be an official part of the Motherfuckiverse.

That guy - 2016-05-29

You're like the Magneto of the Motherfuckiverse.

John Holmes Motherfucker - 2016-05-29

Yes, although my favorite analogy is that Homer is the Dennis the Menace to my Mr Wilson.

EvilHomer - 2016-05-29

You mean the Bart to your GHW Bush, Grandpa!

That guy - 2016-05-30

kind of a low blow calling someone dubya, EH

John Holmes Motherfucker - 2016-05-29

I'm not supposed to call it a cell phone?

These stars are for "an old goat rating your bloomers off the fence", which reminds me of my grandfather, who, when I was five, taught me the words to "Bill Grogan's Goat". He passed when I was sixteen, and I resemble him more than any other relative, living or dead.

John Holmes Motherfucker - 2016-05-29

*eating your bloomers.
