if you weren't around back then, you wouldn't believe what a shitshow most seventies porn was. if you dig enough on XNXX.com or xhamster.com, you might find a sample of the real thing, but for the most part what survives is the high-quality stuff.
In 1976, saw a movie called "Muscle Control", which was probably inspired by Deep Throat, and Linda Lovelace's special talent. It was about a guy who could make his flaccid penis jump up and down. For some reason this really made women hot, even though this dude had a mouth of severely fucked up teeth. There was a shot of two dumpy women giving this guy head back and forth head for 20 minutes. I'm not kidding, this was one of those old fashioned theaters that had an illuminated clock below the screen, and it was 20 fucking minutes. No music, no dialogue, no camera movement, no editing. Just an old theater, built back when everybody went to the movies, so it was huge, with a huge screen, and the one static shot, and the the two women moaning over and over to show how much they liked sucking the dick. Weird how that makes me nostalgic.

John Holmes Motherfucker - 2016-06-19 I wouldn't call it an important part of my life, any more than I'd call Mystery Science Theater" an important part of my life. It's just a kick. It's something that has a bigger nostalgia charge for me than, say, seventies music, because seventies music never went away. I don't think that there was a month between 1975 and 2000 that I didn't pass by a radio somewhere playing fucking Bob Seeger singing fucking "Night Moves", or the maudlin ear-rapinjg that is "Hotel California". Not only did I not see seventies porn before the internet, I spent a lot less time looking at porn movies than listening to music in the seventies (no one had a VCR), so I associate it with very specific memories.
Also, I feel less creepy tooking at a naked 18 year old, knowing that she's now the same age as me.

This is a quality movie that I got on DVD as soon as they discovered the lost print. It's no Orgy of the Dead but it's definitely worth a watch.
