Well, the piano's had a good run, but now it's time to throw 'em away, along with guitars and violins!

This sort of looks like a gratuitously "futuristic" instrument from some 1980s/1990s sci fi TV show that's supposed to be an example of something, well, futuristic even though it doesn't look like it'd work very well. Like, some character would be shown practicing with it in their spare time.

I'm not exactly hep to the bleepbloop scene, but how does "it's a bunch of MIDI drum pads, arranged in a stupid way" constitute a "new" instrument, let alone a "futuristic" one?
|
EvilHomer - 2016-06-28 I like that you can finally make music on your computer, though.
FINALLY.

Even the software looks overwrought and pretentious.

Someone finally got a shitty, toy electronic drum pad to breed with a Bumble Ball in captivity!
This is the first Worst Instruments Week submission truly worthy of the title. The other ones were all pretty great in one way or another, but this is just cynical plastic crap.
|
Old_Zircon - 2016-06-28 I promise you it costs at least 0 too.
|
Old_Zircon - 2016-06-28 And won't work without a computer, not even as a controller.

Hope you don't want to play anything 'round the opposite side.

This definitely wins the "worst instrument" award. Calling it an instrument is an insult to the kazoo.

That guy - 2016-06-29
It's so practical, too.

Fun Fact: This uses Midi 1.0
Second Fun Fact: Midi is still on 1.0 because it's never needed updating
