The idea is that god can use anyone to accomplish his will, even if that person doesn't actually believe. They hate Clinton, so Trump is the only other option. They think god is powerful enough to keep Trump in line.

The thing I'm most struck by is how hard the Truther and anarchist communities have fallen for Trump. Infowars going full-tilt Trump I understand - AJ is probably a Koch-owned disinformation agent, and if Obama taught us nothing else, it's that if you are in the opinion-making industry, dumping any pretense towards anti-authoritarianism/imperialism/globalism the moment "your team" gets in the White House is simply the way The Game is played. But Nick Bravo's pal Stefan Molyneux has been keg-standing the Trump Kool-Aid, too, and it's pretty surreal to watch him selectively forget half the videos he's ever done.

I really want to find out Nick Bravo's opinion on all this (I know he's admired Trump for years, but I don't know if he's ever considered the broader philosophical implications of Trump's policies). Unfortunately, I think the group home might have cut Nick's internet access for the time being.

As for the fundies, it's more believable than Progressives for a woman who ran WalMart and is married to a unindicted serial rapist.

It stands to reason. After all, it suits the real pope's purposes to not have the public scrutinizing him all the time. With the fools in the media focusing on the patsy, Ratzinger is able to keep his eye on the prize: crushing protestants.
