It's disturbing that he said it. It's more disturbing that his supporters agree so enthusiastically.

Well, I guess when it comes to assassinations, Hayden's the right man to talk to!
I'm having a hard time working out Old Man Mike's angle here. The way he's been carrying on these last few months, it almost seems as if he wants us to *like* Trump. As if he's trying to say, "hey look! Big Brother is Team Hillary! Trump doesn't like the empire's deep state apparatus, and the empire's deep state apparatus doesn't like Trump - bet you won't vote for him now!"
My guess is this is some kind of double-bluff, briar patch gambit, much like the Europeans have been playing with their own emergent-right lately ("Noooo, DON'T get scared and increase the power of the staaatte, aaaaanything but thaaaat"). Or maybe Mike genuinely prefers Hillary (she's definitely the CIA's candidate of choice, no doubt about that) and is willing to act like Trump won't play ball, just for the sake of kayfabe, just so he and his friends might have a slightly easier time keeping the wheel of tyranny greased up.

EvilHomer - 2016-08-10 It could also be that he's worrying about his career since "retiring", and - rather than go the Graham Fuller, potter-round-the-garden, radicalize-some-terrorists, destabilize-Turkey route - old Toad Face is hoping to pull a Herbert Walker Bush and get into mainstream politics.
|
EvilHomer - 2016-08-10 Honestly, it's probably a little bit of all-of-the-above.

|
EvilHomer - 2016-08-10 Himmler lasted about sixteen years, so hopefully Hayden's time is coming soon.

The irony.

EvilHomer - 2016-08-10 It doesn't matter which of the two candidates gets assasssinated; so long as at least one of them goes down, Hayden and his NSA budddies get the win.
Keep that meme front and center, Mike! Just make sure the nutjobs are thinking "Hillary" and "Trump", rather than you.

chumbucket - 2016-08-10 So when the guns start going off is that when the lights turn on and Allen Funt comes strolling out to explain "we thought it would be funny.."?
|
EvilHomer - 2016-08-10 In a manner of speaking, only it'll be Allen Dulles, not Funt, and nobody will be laughing.

I don't expect Hilary to survive a year, either through impeachment, assassination or stroke, so if I vote Democrat it's for Tim Kaine.

Does anyone know what he's referring to when he says Clinton wants to abolish the Second Amendment? Or is it just more horseshit?
|
Monkey Napoleon - 2016-08-10 That's how pro-gun people see the type of strict regulation Hillary has track record of pushing for, and they're not exactly wrong.
The 2nd enshrines gun ownership as a right, and there *is* a certain point in regulation where it can be considered no longer a right but a privilege.
So to answer your question: it sort of depends on your point of view and how pedantic you want to be with your definitions.
