It's depressing to see stuff like this (and any Square-Enix production) where it's lots of impressive technical work all in service of godawful creative direction.

The characters and dialog are atrocious. Boobskull inquisitor? Cocky McSarcasm inquisitor? There could be nuanced character reasons they wrote a character completely against typical inquisitors, but I get the feeling that reason was "he's gonna be totally too cool for school like my pen & paper character!"

Terrible writing. They could have shaved off that sub-Matrix sequel speech for the slightest bit of narrative. Why are they there? Too much trouble to show how the guy was corrupt? The writer just wanted to masturbate to his edgelord monologue.

Laughably amateur directing. 4:33 "180 rule? What's that?"

I voted this out because it's terrible, and because the guy who made it plastered his name all over it, all over the opening and ending credits. It just seems a bit much.

I imagine Erasmus looks just like the shit grinning inquisitor character.
