I'm just glad he's not dead. He has some health issues.

Anaxagoras - 2016-09-19

From his wikipedia page:

"In 1997, Carvey underwent heart bypass surgery for a blocked coronary artery, but the surgeon operated on the wrong artery. The blocked artery was deeply buried in muscle and thus hard to find; another artery, though not blocked, was clearly accessible, so the surgeon bypassed it. Carvey, later suffering from angina pectoris, sued for medical malpractice and was awarded $8 million in damages. He donated the money to charity.[23] He has had to undergo additional surgery to correct his heart problems."

THEY BYPASSED THE WRONG CORONARY ARTERY?????

Simillion - 2016-09-19

hey, i've had chats with people about surgical malpractice cases, there's tons of crazy shit out there. Here's one; during what was supposed to be a routine excision of a kidney cyst a patient had the blood supply to the kidney interrupted briefly (clipped) during the excision phase to control bleeding. The excision went fine, but the clip was never removed. The kidney was lost due to the clip being in place after closure.

there's a bunch of em, not bypassing the right artery is minor compared to say, amputating the wrong leg.

fedex - 2016-09-20

Yep, because then they STILL have to go back and amputate the RIGHT leg too!

kingarthur - 2016-09-20

Now I'm kind of glad this cancer is inoperable?

SolRo - 2016-09-20

'I don't like to think of it as "I incorrectly castrated you instead of giving a circumcision", what I did is reduced your risk of testicular cancer to zero'

matlock - 2016-09-20

I'm guessing this would be right up the alley of the average Today show viewer. Relevance is relative.

Had to stop it there. Can't take any more.

That guy - 2016-09-20

There's somethin' extra-not-funny about impersonating trump.

gravelstudios - 2016-09-20

It's because Trump is already an impersonation of himself. He's a recursive impersonation. He's a stack overflow of impersonation.

chumbucket - 2016-09-20

So what happened to that amateur impersonation contest show? They could do better with Craig Gass or Frank Caliendo.

EvilHomer - 2016-09-20

Network Television tries to be relevant again.

John Holmes Motherfucker - 2016-09-20

He's doing Donald Trump. What could be more relevant than that?

It doesn't matter who it is, a comedian on a talk show doing riffs instead of talking, while the host laughs appreciatively because that's his job, will always be a very special kind of show business helll.

If Dana Carvey can afford to give away his malpractice money, I shouldn't feel bad for him , but I think of him as a mostly wasted talent. DOES ANYONE ELSE THINK THAT THE DANA CARVEY SHOW WAS BRILLIANT? It's been so long I don't trust my own memory.

chumbucket - 2016-09-20

I miss the Dana Carvey show.

Xenocide - 2016-09-20

The Dana Carvey Show was genius.

But this is just...he's just doing generic cartoon voices and telling us "THAT WAS HILLARY CLINTON" afterward.

BillLumbergh - 2016-09-20

I don't see what terrible here. I love Dana Carvey.

BillLumbergh - 2016-09-20

*what's

BillLumbergh - 2016-09-20

also, I'm drunk and glad he's still alive.

Xenocide - 2016-09-20

Taco Bell Presents the Dana Carvey Decline Starring Dana Carvey

Seven Arts/H8 Red - 2016-09-20

"You know, one time I was goin', you know, I was doing me thing goin' like 'e-mails, e-mails', right? Lauer's there goin' 'scoob-a-loob-a-doob-a-ZOOB-a-doo', and I'm over there goin' 'I'm Donald Trump, look at me hair', you know, and Matt's goin' 'zup-huddely-doo-hoop-poop-poop'!

And that's how I came up with most of me rent money this month."
