"...correcting the grammar of the pretty waitress..."
Oh he's a real prince.

memedumpster - 2016-09-26

So this Kek bullshit is new to me, and I hate these people immediately.

EvilHomer just bypassed Kamlem as the poster who has ruined my day with new knowledge delivered in video format.

So all frogs now mean bigot mysoginist chaos magick. Like 9's mean rape to StalkedInBoston.

Punch Kek faces until the clock runs out on the universe.

EvilHomer - 2016-09-26

"Find me more", you say? Oh, Megadumpther, I have such sights to show you.

EvilHomer - 2016-09-26

I think you misunderstood the point Mr Aurini was making, however. It is not that ALL frogs are bigot misogynist chaos magicians. Just that Pepe/Kek, the frog who currently embodies the big misognyist chaos magick archetype, also happens to share the same name as an obscure pagan frog deity of a similar portfolio.

I feel intellectually 9'd by this video.

EvilHomer - 2016-09-26

Well, somewhat similar, I should say. I can't find any evidence to suggest that Kuk/Kek was considered a Laughing God by the Ancient Egyptians, but he was a god of darkness, secrets, and the act of unveiling / bringing light - as such, he could be argued to be a keeper of forbidden secrets and a god of the Deep Web, like Pepe/Kek.

Pepe/Kek is certainly a Azatoth-like figure and I rather like that comparison, but Aurini, assuming he is linking Kuk/Kek to Azatoth, may be speculating a bit more than is warranted.

memedumpster - 2016-09-26

At best, Tsethogguah, not even close to Azagthoth.

EvilHomer - 2016-09-26

Who is Tsethogguah?

Also, I noticed at least one error in Aurini's presentation. This is a bit nitpicky, but: Pepe did not "become" Pepe after he arrived on the 'chans. Rather, Pepe was always the frog's name, his original name from way back when he was still just a character in the obscure webcomic, "Boy's Club". Pepe was originally known to the memelords as the "Feels Good Man (frog)", but this was only because, at that time, few people knew or cared about Pepe's backstory. After Pepe grew in popularity, memelord researchers went back into the archives, dug up Feels Good Man's 'True Name', and popularized it.

And yes, in case you are wondering, I HAVE had to explain all this to people IRL.

I've seen funnier videos, I've seen crazier videos, but this may be the stupidest fucking thing I've ever seen. I drank deeply from it and now I must rest.
