I forget what this beat was sampled from originally, I figured it out a few years ago. If I remember right the Enigma version isn't a straight sample, but it's an exact duplicate of a break that was already common.

I've got a backlong of stuff already, tweaking the mixes a bit and waiting for the next time I have more than one day off in a row to record more new stuff.

boy aint that the truth...I turned on the studio yesterday evening for the first time in a while and before I knew it, 4:AM (Eternal) had rolled around! :)

Yeah, I've actually got five days off this weekend but I'm using it to visit family because it's so rare I have a weekend of these days, and then I have a physical Tuesday afternoon and plans in the evening so in the end I'll still only have one day that I can devote to recording until the week after. Should have a good run of Tuesday/Wednesday breaks for the rest of October though, so hopefully I can get a bunch more recorded.

so I just uploaded it again to 73q. Really just a studio-tour more than a real video, for a song I did a while ago with a good friend.

The other one is kind of a slow burn (well a 2 and a half minute slow burn anyway) so I guess an excerpt from the middle doesn't really say much.
