Yeah, this trailer is awful but this movie looks like a perfect Nic Cage vehicle.

I'll even forgive them for casting Russel Brand.

Honestly, I think he's intentionally hilarious most of the time even when he wasn't supposed to be, I give him a lot of benefit of the doubt.

Yeah, all valid points. It seems to me that over the last 10 years he has become more famous for his over the top wtf style of acting in Movies like Vampires Kiss or Deadfall, and that trying to directly harness his weirdo side could either be excellent, or terrible. I am looking forward to watching this at some point.

Also, speaking of Wild at Heart, there is a new movie with Cage and Willem Defoe coming out soon called dog eat dog, which could be interesting.

The role looks like it fits NC to a T.

btw, great choice in weaponry. The katana is the perfect weapon for assassinating a terrorist leader.
