I too am too stuck up to enjoy a fun, entertaining, and hilarious film like Guardians of the Galaxy.
Just kidding! I loved GOTG and I'm sure I'll love the sequel.

I wish nothing but good things for the GOTG franchise, it honestly deserves life far more than anything Star Wars getting made.

It was a bright, colorful, light hearted movie that didn't waste time with backstory or villain set-up, just big, silly, fast paced set pieces that featured characters the audience actually likes. It was as different from a DC movie as it is possible to be.

I found Guardians underwhelming, mostly because I couldn't tell what they were after and I kept zoning out during the x-wing stuff. The characters were pretty charming together, though, especially in some of the prison scenes. Maybe the next one won't feel as forced.

Really? I'm honestly surprised since the Infinity Gauntlet is going to be the big thing. Mind you, I am not complaining....I just assumed contact between the worlds was inevitable with the direction they were heading.
