Watch the actual show first, though, because I imagine the brilliance of this clip would be lost on you if you haven't seen Stranger Things yet.

You should be watching Steven Universe.

Yeah, more and more of my friends are falling to Steven Universe. CA's buddy has shown me an episode or two, but I refuse to like it as a matter of principle. They're also trying to get me into Rick & Morty, however, so I'll have to break down for one or the other.

Honestly never met anyone who doesn't like Stranger Things. "Ash vs Evil Dead" should take priority if you haven't seen either show yet, but Stranger Things has a broad appeal, and it's the sort of program you could show your entire unit without anyone hating you for it.

I started watching Stranger Things. One day you'll believe in Steven.

The actual show is actually really well made and entertaining.

Try to avoid the sperg-out of nostalgia dipshittery in the 'community' of fans of the show, though.

I just read the rest of the comments in this particular 'thread' here, and realized my words above could arguably apply to Stranger Thing OR Steven Universe.

(Though I meant it about ST at the time.)

Based on my own polling efforts, the majority of SU fans aren't even aware of the shows which SU is plagiarizing.

It's not really "nostalgia" if your target audience is too young to get the nostalgia.
