Did some admin seriously just block this vid from the front page because they didn't like it? Like, this vid got out of the hopper, and they just plucked it out?

All this site needs to do is let videos that get voted out of the hopper show up for rating and discussion. That is it. Someone couldn't even let that happen.

I am done with this site.

I disagree! The entertainment I personally got from driving orcs to a mental breakdown (before his eventual banning) leading to him just gibbering like a maniac in the comments from rage is TOTALLY worth losing a few retarded faux-nerd-culture submissions now and then.

And, BTW, while I realize it sucks to get a video downvoted off the front page, it was a system put in place to weed out spam and other videos that were submitted in bad faith, primarily people submitting something in the hopper, then editing and changing the video once it hits the front page to something else.

It was a thing that came about because of abuse from the butthurt ex-POE News crowd.

I'll back up Stanley here, that's exactly how the system works. Throw a few stars at this thing, and it'll reappear.

I usually wont click a video game related submission unless the side bar shows it is getting a ton of attention, like this one.

I at least THOUGHT you could reappear a video. Otherwise that would mean that the first few people can sink it with ones, then it would never come back regardless of how many people like it.
