Yeah Inside Out sucked. It was just like a long episode of Herman's Head, which at least had Lisa Simpson's voice in it.

Yet the thing received a near perfect score on Rotten Tomatoes and the Oscar for best animated picture. I don't see why so many people like it. It's my least favorite Pixar film by far (I've never seen the Cars movies).

There's still room for the "capitalism" and/or "the decline of Western civilization" tags.

Sausage Party may have looked silly, but it was actually pretty well received by critics. Also it wasn't an example of shrill commercialism like this is. This is moreso in the vain of the Angry Birds Movie, which made 350 million dollars in the box office and has a sequel in production.

This movie is for, like, 8 year olds, right? I mean not necessarily content wise or anything, but in terms of business model.

Sausage Party is put together like a kid's movie, except it's for adults. I think that's awesome. You may disagree.

They also made it rated R which is quite the risk.

i never read the european releases because i'm told they depict several emojis in very unflattering and downright racist ways, like buck teeth and coolie hat racist, like dana carvey was like "hey man let me help design some emojis"
