Classic NBC-era Letterman should be its own cable or streaming channel. I'd watch it at least once a day to help boost my mood.

This is enlightened me a lot. David is really doing something brave with this show, for that era. As a conan-era kid, seeing this helps me remember why I didn't like this show. I also see how influential he was now.
