I was in the other room when this was on the TV, and it sounded a lot better than it looks. Did we really need the picture in the background? Listening, it took me a moment to figure out what it was about, and that made it seem a lot cooler.

Well, what if we forget about it for three lousy minutes? Last week, Samantha Bee accused FDR of keeping Jewish refugees out of the country with disastrous consequences. I mean: F! D! R! Does anybody get through the presidency without some atrocities? It's like being a parent. The job is too big to not fuck up somewhere.
