I do think Conan does pretty decent interviews but I also agree his sketch comedy and gags are highlights. For me it feels a bit like the aspects of early Letterman that I liked the most. Sending Biff out to do crazy things or dopey moments during the show that Dave acted as if they were mere interruptions to his chi. I think Conan seems to tap that comedy essence a bit.

Based on his Simpsons stuff Conan seemed like this comedy writing genius wunderkind.. It always seemed like such a waste when he got involved with shitty talk shows.
I get that he idolised talk show hosts, Johnny Carson and so on, and wanted to be that. Still, disappointing.
Mr. Purple Cat Esq.
Also Eagleheart (which is amazing) was made by Conaco, I wonder did he have any influence on its writing.

Great sketch. I miss the days of things like Pimpbot 5000.
Also, Mr. Clean getting all that sweet 40 year old housewife action, I see.
Yeah, what's unfortunate is that a good chunk of Conan's current audience probably doesn't remember Pimpbot. This is great delivery of a lame joke whose punchline you can see from a mile away, but it's no match for Irreverent Conan.

The real secret ingredient is the one you add yourself.
That's actually a thing in prison. People take the syrup made for pancakes that comes in a vessel similar to a Go-Gurt tube, mix it with shampoo and come in it, and then they throw it at some peel in the basketball court
Prison ingenuity honestly never ceases to impress me. They do more with their cum before 9 AM than I do all day! Except Sundays.
