That's an extremely common misconception. Dogs actually have bichromatic vision (purple and yellow-green), though it's not very sensitive, and their retinas are very rod-heavy.
Dogs can see color, but have only two color receptors. They see grass as being yellow.
Go to fire, see if they hire.
