Essentially the same movie. And I watched "Se7en" recently, and I couldn't help but notice that it's a Vincent-Price-Murders-People-Thematically movie.
This may be a dupe. I know because I submitted it myself. But the linkmay be dead, and I don't give a shit. If you vote this up every day, I'll give this five stars every time it appears. Price's performance nails the role of a hammy Shakespearean actor with amazing precision. He's just bad enough to be credible and compelling. Of course, a lot of it involves simply playing Shakespeare as if it's a William Castle movie. He's the right man for the job.
Last week I learned that an old girlfriend had died,. There are times when I'm really broken up about it, I've shed some tears. But she would have criticized me for the fact that I've watched Anthony Hopkins feed Jessica Lange a pie stuffed with the flesh of her sons in TITUS over and over again with a kind of delight, but I usually have to FF through the scene of Robert Morley being forced to eat his poodles. People just respond to animals on an emotional level, because it's how we communicate with them. It's not a morality thing. It's an emotional thing. I do believe that human life is more valuble than poodles.
Fans of TOB with a Hulu subscription may be able to find it there. I watched it there just last week. Probably it has better resolution.
