This movie should have been so much fun (like the opening montage suggested it would be), but the plot, tone, and coloring were determined to thwart that at every turn.

Yeah. My wife and I were jazzed to see it, then she fell asleep in the first ten minutes and I - unfortunately - remained awake. At least it had Charlie Day.
