Every frame of this movie looks like the HD remastered version of someone's last known photograph.

Jackey Neyman, who plays the little girl Debbie has a blog about her experiences making Manos, and subsequent experiences with fandom. Her father (who played "The Master" is still alive and can be seen in photos as a slender, handsome old gentleman with a John Waters mustache. Shes also an artist who sells some nice handmade memorabilia.

Just spotted this on Jackey's blog.

>>>A sequel film that stars remaining living cast members of the original film, Jackey (Debbie), Tom Neyman (The Master) and Diane Mahree (Margaret). Manos Returns is currently in post production after a successful kickstarter last fall and followed by filming last summer. Bryan Jennings, the son of the original Sheriff is also involved as an Executive Producer and is our new Sheriff.

How bad can it be? My suggestion for a title: "MANOS 2: Satanic Boogaloo"

Correction: Sadly, the Master passed away in the fall.

He's not dead the way *you* know it.

My eight-year-old watched his first episode of MST3K (Santa Claus Conquers the Martians) the day after Netflix added them back, and asked me last night which one of the 20 episodes they have on there is "the absolute worst."

Looks like we'll be watching some MANOS soon.

Xenocide - 2017-04-09

Netflix doesn't have it, but I still contend that Red Zone Cuba is MST3K's worst film. Both it and Manos are dull as hell movies but at least Manos doesn't have Roger Corman's special brand of "THIS CRAP I SPENT EIGHT DOLLARS FILMING IN THE DESERT IS EXTREMELY DEEP AND PHILOSOPHICAL."

Why do those three guys even hang out together? Why does the film keep going for 40 minutes after they get back from Cuba? Why did they randomly murder that blind lady's dad? I swear that movie was designed to corrode the human soul, which is why Roger Corman has risen from his grave and walks among us, a shambling talentless ghoul.

And by Roger Corman I mean Coleman Francis. Roger Corman is good people, whose only crime is having a somewhat similar sounding name.

Nicely done.
