Dipper's voice coming out of an adult takes a little getting used to.

bac - 2017-04-10

I know what you mean. It's such a good voice.

Bort - 2017-04-10

What, you never saw him on "Another Period"? He was a sister-fucker in that one, like 90% of "Gravity Falls" fanfiction.

Oh hey, bawbag is back, and straight to being a cunt again.

Go away.

bawbag - 2017-04-09

Mmm say my name bitch.

Monkey Napoleon - 2017-04-09

Seems like somebody is ready to find out how to actually get banned from the site.

Please don't snitch to Portland antifa about me.

bawbag - 2017-04-09

Oh man, not a ban! lol

See ya next mnr kid.

Monkey Napoleon - 2017-04-09

no you won't

Nominal - 2017-04-09

So now that he's graduated to a full time career of trying to dox and threatening everyone with it, can we finally ban this piece of garbage?

bawbag - 2017-04-09

LOL

Nominal - 2017-04-09

My mistake, not just doxing, but foxing then trying to forward to info with the intent that violent thugs will jump them.

Yeah, time to toss this piece of garbage.

bac - 2017-04-10

I have been intending to research season 2. Thanks for the reminder.

infinite zest - 2017-04-10

I liked Season 1 but Season 2 is like a billion times better

cognitivedissonance - 2017-04-10

She is definitely my America's Sweetheart.

Cena_mark - 2017-04-10

Gravity falls is excellent. I hope they make another series with it.

infinite zest - 2017-04-10

dangit that's what I thought this vague commercial was about! :(

Bort - 2017-04-10

They told their story, and ended the series well. Any further adventures are likely to be pretty weak.

Same creative team, different show please.

infinite zest - 2017-04-10

But that'd be like if New Twin Peaks was not in Twin Peaks! :(

Bort - 2017-04-10

More like how seasons 1 and 2 of "Fargo" have different casts and are barely connected at best, but are comparably enjoyable.

I still think the flying saucers happened because 1) the events of "Fargo" season 2 were based on eyewitness accounts and 2) one of those eyewitnesses was Kirsten Dunst's character, who probably DID see flying saucers. The closing moments of S2 don't back me up but my way works overall.

cognitivedissonance - 2017-04-11

I suspect the flying saucers are a shout out to "The Man Who Wasn't There", which had a very bizarre sequence about UFOs that was incongruent to the rest of the film.

Bort - 2017-04-11

I think I read that the flying saucers were put in because there's nothing more 70s than flying saucers. But my way fits, particularly because the flying saucers show up only when Kirsten Dunst's character is present. Kirsten Dunst isn't paying attention and hits a guy on the road, and some time later when she's recounting the event, she says she was distracted by the most amazing spectacle in the sky. Later, when trying to describe the chaos of the motel bloodbath, she embellishes about how there was even a giant UFO. And of course, in her version, she's the only one who took the UFO in stride because she's very advanced that way.

This is why Hollywood needs to turn to me to fine-tune their scripts. Like if I had to fix Scooby-Doo cartoons, every time Scooby-Doo sees a ghost, he runs around the room in a panic and shits everywhere.

infinite zest - 2017-04-11

Yeah she similarly hallucinates the smoke-out scene in the meat locker from the old Reagan Nazi movie that's on when Dod gets out so she's obviously checked out to movie-land down to the way she thinks the law will deal with her. I do seem to remember a few scenes with the UFO and no Kristen in proximity though, like when Hank's daughter sees all the alien hieroglyphs in his study. Her subsequent vision of Season 1 (sadly without her) also could be caused by some alien psychic abilities or something. Also it's believed that it came from the real-life story of Val Johnson

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Val_Johnson_incident

But you know, "true story." If you're so inclined, rent or download Kumiko Treasure Hunter, a little (and actually true) Japanese film about a woman obsessed with finding the real buried treasure from the story that Fargo the movie was based on. Maybe that's Fargo season 2's real Sisyphus metaphor, trying to figure out something that's probably not worth figuring out.

Bort - 2017-04-25

"I do seem to remember a few scenes with the UFO and no Kristen in proximity though, like when Hank's daughter sees all the alien hieroglyphs in his study."

That was explained at the end of the season, that the dad was trying his hand at creating a new symbolic language that would bring people together. Felt more like a red herring than anything.

Hanzee saw the UFO in the first episode too, and that's a point against my interpretation, unless Kirsten Dunst was saying "I bet that Indian saw it too because they're attuned to nature".
