Fuck you, TFA was great and I wanna see this one too. Especially with the rumors Kylo Ren finally gets to emulate grandpa Vader by being reduced to a few, angsty chunks in vaccuformed plastic armor.

Have they figured out who's in charge and who's rebelling, yet?

I can't wait for the next hundred episodes produced between now and 2067, eventually being cranked out with fully CGI actors, musical scores by John Williams-emulating AIs, dead myths being endlessly reproduced by a process of automation not unlike what is being done with fast food franchises now.

The Last Jedi, please.

The more epic these movies get, the less I care.

I'm not trying to be a curmudgeon or anything, but I think Star Wars is at its best in witty trash compactor hijinks, wisdoms uttered in a bog, and that bit from the last one where some tentacled monster got loose aboard Han's ship. Silly adventure stuff where the characters get to shine.

When I was a kid, I used to turn off the first movie after they left the Death Star because from that point on it was basically radio chatter and laser sounds all the way down. Star Wars has never been interesting enough to support big, epic clashes, but it shines in the little, alien details.

That, more than anything, is what the prequels got wrong, and this new series hasn't really embraced it's characters either. More love triangles, fewer showdowns between Good and Not So Good!

That said, I am too old to care about this either way. Star Wars The
Last Jedi will give lots of kids something to play on the monkey bars. Good on them.

Can't we just have one more Jedi, pleeeeeaaaaassseeeee???
