Here's hoping no one will remember this Alamo.

I'll betcha anything this motherfucker was the inspiration for that one Columbo episode guest-starring Johnny Cash.

A friend of mine gave me a bunch of free Tony Alamo records a few years ago, and I'm not totally comfortable owning them. It's like I imagine it would be to find Skrewdriver records or something. As a collector you want to keep them but as a human being you want to throw them in the trash.

Old_Zircon - 2017-06-05

On the other hand, if half of the stuff in Hammer of the Gods is true then owning Tony Alamo records isn't really much wore than owning Led Zeppelin records.

Old_Zircon - 2017-06-05

And if half the stuff in I'm With the Band or Please Kill me is true, we might as well write off all popular music recorded between 1964 and 84.

"A bunch" = 2 or 3.

Caminante Nocturno - 2017-06-05

And if half the stuff in the Spinal Tap documentary is true we should consider passing some kind of law about drummers.

Old_Zircon - 2017-06-05

half the stuff in Spinal Tap IS true they followed Saxon on tour and based the movie on it.

Also Stonehenge is based on real events on Black Sabbath's Born Again tour. They made the monument too big and it wouldn't fit through the doors at a lot of venues, and the dwarf eventually fell off of it and broke his arm.

If you ever played in a band, you'd recognize %80 of Spinal Tap is true.

I mean metaphorically. Spinal Tap rules.

Caminante Nocturno - 2017-06-06

Okay fine I'm sorry I didn't make a good enough joke for you motherfucking music nerds.

Sorry, I just wanted to remind everyone I was once cool.

They still kidnap the homeless, ironically enough immediately across the street from Scientology Big Blue in Hollywood. They promise a hot meal and a clean bed, they'll take anybody, and they drive them out to Agua Dulce. LAPD doesn't care, it cleans up the streets.

Didn't a journalist go undercover on one of those vans a while back and do a piece on it?
