So wait, did they remake it in the style of a Bush era WB sitcom on purpose?

SolRo - 2017-06-13
I mean, at least they didn't remake it into an action adventure flick starring tom cruise.

It's actually a sequel, not a remake, even though it was originally announced as a remake. Kiefer Sutherland apparently reprises his role from the original in this one. Neat.

So they all did well on the MCAT, but now they're arguing over who gets to cut off the oxygen supply to their brain first?
I hope there's a sequel where they have a fistfight over who gets the longest huffing session with a ziplock full of gasoline.

Just makes me want to rewatch flatliners actual, only I can't get the image of counter-terrorist kiefer sutherland out of my head and I will probably now think its some secret government experiment to time travel

StanleyPain - 2017-06-14 You *do* realize that internet comments like this are like speaking ancient words of summoning to the Dark Ones who inhabit Hollywood, yes? Why did you have to go and do that???

I was sure that there was a Lost Boys remake, and no I'm not thinking of Twilight, but I guess there wasn't. Oh well, it's not like he didn't make a number of pretty good movies before the Batman thing, and in my personal opinion at least two pretty good movies after. I mean, Bryan Singer kinda fucked up Superman the same way but I wouldn't bark too much if they were remaking Usual Suspects, because that's just what Hollywood does.
|
William Burns - 2017-06-17 I'll bet you are thinking of the Fright Night remake.

If this movie doesn't contain a little black girl swearing profusely at Kevin Bacon, I'm going to be very disappointed.
